Our Church Street blend is our staple coffee, named in honor of our first coffee house located in Greenwich.
Blends are simply coffees that use beans from more than one place. We’ve combined beans from two small farms in China and Colombia to make ‘Church Street’. Blends tend to be more forgiving and easier to work with, so they’re ideal for brewing at home.
The main component of the current iteration of Church Street is a washed coffee from The Dongka Farm in Yunnan, China. Dongka is a family run farm and washing station with over 20 years’ experience in the commercial coffee industry, producing some of the most consistent specialty-grade washed coffees in the Menglian region. Partnering with Yunnan Coffee Traders, the Dongka farm continues to help create opportunities for Yunnan farmers to engage in sustainable production practices.
This coffee is roasted as an omni-roast, so will work well with any home brewing method you choose.
